    • If the recording is muffled, distorted, or has too much background sound, recognition might fail.

  4. Remixes, live versions, or edits

    • Alternate versions don’t always match perfectly to the main release, so they may not be identified.

  5. New or niche releases

    • Sometimes it takes time for brand-new or less widely distributed songs to be added to the recognition system.
